This agreement corresponds to the design and engineering phase of a project covering: scheduling, feasibility, technical development, preparation of subcontract tender documents and legislative applications.

The work produces formal specification designs and budget ready for construction. This enables the client to then choose a construction contract format and an industry contract such as the international “FIDIC”.

This contract is the common basis for most projects and it clearly defines GSE’s commitments together with both parties’ obligations. The objective is to perform the studies and work required for the construction of a building.

Working from the Design Phase information GSE can thereby guarantee three major commitments

• a fixed price,
• delivery deadline,
• quality and service levels.
